I Like Too Much – Terms of Service & Booking

Last updated: 5 October 2025

Welcome to I Like Too Much. We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to cook, laugh and share a glass (or two) with you. These Terms outline the important details around your booking, event participation, website use, and any purchases you make with us. By booking, purchasing, or using our site, you agree to these Terms — please read them carefully.

Section A — Experience & Booking Terms (Events, Classes & Private Experiences)

1. Overview

“I Like Too Much” (ABN 55 609 483 681) provides food experiences including cooking classes, private events and “Pinot & Pasta” parties. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to I Like Too Much; “you” or “the client” refers to the person or organisation making the booking. By booking, paying a deposit or participating in our experiences, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you’re booking on behalf of a group or company, you accept responsibility for communicating these Terms to all attendees.

2. Bookings, Deposits & Payment

·         A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date/time for cooking classes and catering.

·         Full payment is due 3 days prior to your booking. Payment can be made online by credit card or by phone using MasterCard or Visa.

·         We also accept Amex & Diners with a 2% surcharge. A 20% public-holiday surcharge applies.

·         Minimum booking: 8 adults (or to the value of $1,280 inc GST). If fewer than 8 attend, the minimum still applies.

·         All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

·         Bookings requiring travel beyond 100 km of Melbourne may incur an additional travel fee (confirmed prior to your booking).

·         Please note dietary needs at time of booking.

3. What’s Included

·         All equipment, ingredients, and food preparation items

·         Two-hour hands-on cooking class led by an experienced chef

·         Bread and canapés

·         Sparkling water and limited alcoholic beverages (as stated in your event details)

·         Set-up and full kitchen clean-up at the end of the event

Because multiple events can run in one day, we appreciate starting on time. A 30-minute grace period applies; if we start beyond this, an additional hourly fee of $200 may apply.

4. Wine & Beverages

Our events often include wine as part of the experience. We proudly serve our House Pinot Blend a locally crafted, Pinot-led red (approximately 70% Pinot Noir / 30% Shiraz) chosen for its smooth, food-friendly style.

·         Each guest receives up to two standard glasses of our House Pinot Blend unless otherwise arranged.

·         Wine varietals, vintages and suppliers may vary. We reserve the right to substitute wines or beverages of comparable style and quality without notice.

·         If you or your guests prefer an alternative (white, rosé, sparkling or non-alcoholic), please advise us in writing prior to your event and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Please note: “Pinot & Pasta” is our experience name and brand — it represents the spirit of our events rather than a guarantee of a specific varietal.

5. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

We love feeding everyone and will do our best to accommodate dietary requests. Please let us know at the time of booking if any guest requires vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or other dietary options. While care is taken, ingredients and suppliers may change, and cross-contamination can occur in shared kitchen environments. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and accept no liability for adverse reactions to foods or ingredients not disclosed in advance.

6. Event Changes, Delays, Cancellations & Refunds

·         Delays: 30-minute grace period applies; beyond this, a $200/hr fee may be incurred.

·         Client-initiated cancellations/postponements: If within 3 days and we are not able to fill your date/time, the full fee applies. All changes must be made by phone and confirmed by us in writing.

·         Rescheduling: We’ll help reschedule where possible, subject to availability.

·         Company-initiated changes: We may amend, reschedule or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, supply issues, weather, or force majeure). If this occurs, a full refund will be provided or an alternative date offered.

7. Force Majeure / Supplier Disruption

We are not liable for failure to perform services or for substituting menu, wine, or event features when such changes arise from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including supplier or staffing shortages, transport delays, illness, or natural events). We will use reasonable efforts to deliver an equivalent experience of similar quality.

8. Health & Illness

If you are feeling unwell before your booking, or have recently returned from interstate/overseas travel, please contact us to reschedule. Change of date is welcome, pending availability.

9. Alcohol Service & Legal Compliance

We comply with applicable liquor licensing laws. Alcohol will not be served to minors or intoxicated persons. By booking, you confirm that all guests are over 18 years of age (unless attending an approved kids’ event) and that you will ensure responsible consumption. You agree to provide a safe, suitable environment for any in-home or corporate events.

10. Responsibility & Liability

You agree to take reasonable care of the venue, equipment, and property provided during your event. We accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury caused by misuse of equipment, failure to follow instructions, or negligence by attendees. Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the event.

11. Guest Complaints & Disputes

If something isn’t right on the day, please tell us immediately so we can fix it. For post-event concerns (e.g. disagreement about what was served or delivered), please email us within 7 days of the event with details and any supporting information. We’ll review your feedback in good faith and may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund, credit or other resolution.

12. Marketing & Photography

You agree to give I Like Too Much unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at classes and events for marketing. If you do not want photos or videos used, please let us or your chef know on the day or contact us.

13. Intellectual Property

All recipes, class materials, and brand assets (including names such as Pinot & Pasta, Kids Pasta & Pizza Parties, etc.) remain the property of I Like Too Much and may not be copied or reused without written consent.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria. If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining Terms continue in full effect. Before commencing legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through discussion or mediation.

15. Acceptance

By confirming your booking, paying a deposit, or attending an event, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms in full. If booking online, you must tick the “I agree to the Terms of Service & Booking” box before proceeding.
