Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my kitchen is big enough to hold a pasta class?
An island bench is ideal for hosting a pasta class. Due to government regulations, we do need to ensure there's adequate spacing between each person. If you don’t have an island benchtop, that’s ok, at an additional small cost we can bring a fold out table that we can work from as well. If you’re unsure you’re welcome to send us a photo for us to judge straight away.
What do I need to do as the host? What do you need me to prepare before you come?
We need a sanitised, cleaned down bench with glasses and dinner plates for your family and friends ready to go. It's important that your guests are ready on time to ensure you're eating at an appropriate hour. And we'll do the rest. We bring ingredients, pots, pans, hand sanitiser, gloves if required and the fun!
Should I supply additional food for people?
We recommend adding a platter on arrival, which we can organise for $200. This allows people to graze throughout the class as they have a glass of wine or two.
How is the class structured?
Learning how to make pasta the authentic Italian way runs for approximately 2 hours depending on the class size. At this time, our chefs then cook the pasta and carefully plate everything ready for guests to enjoy.
If we were to take a standard dinner booking, the timing would be as follows:
5pm - Chef arrives and starts to set up the class.
6 – 8 pm is fun, hands on learning with a rolling pin in one hand and a glass of pinot in the other.
8 – 9pm is enjoying the food with your friends and loved ones whilst our chefs then clean down the work stations in the kitchen to how the found it.
Based on this, we do recommend purchasing our optional grazing platter on arrival or ensuring you have something for guests to nibble on.
CAN WE HAve more than one household join in?
Yes you can! Included in the price is delivering all equipment to one household, if you'd like additional households to join in the fun (up to 6 people) we can deliver all the food, equipment and wine for an additional delivery fee of $25 per household to cover travel costs and time (as we'll also need to pick up the equipment the next day). All other costs remain the same.

Do you charge extra for over a certain number of km to get to my house or venue?
Yes, any travel over 100km will incur an additional cost. Please contact us prior to booking.
What if some people in the party don’t drink alcohol do we get a discount?
Unfortunately we don’t offer a discount for those that don’t drink alcohol. We can offer a non-alcoholic wine, please note this on your booking form and we’ll ensure to bring this to the class for guests to enjoy.
What if we don’t drink red wine?
White wine can be supplied. Please note this on your booking form and we’ll ensure we bring a bottle or two to your class.

WHAT ADDITIONAL HYGIENE MEASURES ARE YOU TAKING WITH COVID-19
In line with government regulations, we'll be doing the following:
1. Sanitiser available to be used throughout the class, we also recommend regularly washing hands with warm water and soap
2. All phones during food preparation will need to be put aside, but can be picked up again during non cooking times
3. Adequate distancing and space between each person (as it's family and friends it is more relaxed instead of the 1.5 meters with non family and friends)
5. Gloves will also be available if required.
Can my child attend the class too?
Yes, children are welcome to do the classes. Any child 16 and under are considered a Bambino and it's $75 per child.
Do you do this for hens and bux parties?
Yes, we do. We can also recommend great venues to do this if you don't have a house available.
